Jill G. Jones-Soderman, LCSW, ACSW, ABE, NAFC, AFC has been in the private practice of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for over 35 years. Her involvement in her own continuing education currently includes interdisciplinary studies in psychoanalysis and forensics.
A major interest and ongoing aspect of her work involves the study of the violation of civil rights and confidentiality in various provinces of the court system with particular emphasis on family courts throughout the country.
Differential diagnosis, especially related to early childhood disorders and family conflict are a major focus of her work. Author, book critic, teacher, and student, as a professional in the field of long-term, intensive, analytically-oriented psychotherapy, Jill's work extends beyond her private practice in Manhattan. She reaches out to families in great distress. Families that are dealing with children who suffer from poorly recognized syndromes such as Opposition Defiant Disorder (ODD), and early childhood mood disorders.
